Reaching out for support in your relationship is a big step. It can bring up a lot of feelings such as fear, hope, grief, excitement, and ambivalence. No matter how you feel as you enter the work of couples therapy, it is a space where you can explore more of yourself and how you show up in your relationship. When we have the courage to face the difficult parts of our human and relational lives, we often gain more access to feeling at home with ourselves and with our partner. The best news of all is that you don’t have to do it alone. It is an honor to accompany couples on their work together, and I look forward to learning how I can support you.

I am passionate about helping couples heal the places in their relationship that have been damaged and need attention. I also love helping individuals find more of an ability to be their whole authentic selves in their relationship, even when it feels easier to hide their messy parts. There is so much possibility when we can go beyond the surface of things and examine how each individual’s wounds and struggles and strengths can influence the dynamic in the partnership. It is powerful work to do this work with your partner and learn to relate to each other from a more grounded, healthy stance.

Background:

It has been a long, winding, and humbling path for me to become a therapist. I feel in awe everyday that this is my work in the world; it is always an honor to accompany my clients on their paths of self-discovery and healing.
My therapeutic style is warm, open, non-judgmental, and curious. I don’t make assumptions about who you are or what you have been through – I see each client as a unique combination of history, conditioning, patterns, wounds, gifts, and dreams. I respect the pace and rhythm of your own process, and I collaborate with you to create the therapeutic environment that will be most supportive and helpful for you.

Training & Education:

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, and I hold a master’s degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from CIIS university in San Francisco.

In my free time:

I love writing poetry, reading, spending time in nature, yoga, and baking gluten-free goodies. I just started working on my first novel. I also recently ran my first marathon and hope to start training soon for another one.
